What your crew sees

Your crew member doesn't see Requests, Crew or Settings. They see one page, Your time off, with only their own time off on it.

The invite

The invite you send says "Hi Mike, join Ridgeline Landscaping on Crew Off to ask for time off", with their link. The link opens Join as Mike Torres. They tap Sign in to join, sign in with Google or a code sent to their email, and they're in. See Invite your crew.

Their page

From the top:

• Days left, one for each type that keeps a balance, like "Vacation: 10 days left".
• Ask for time off: When?, What for?, an optional Note that goes in the message, and Ask. See How your crew asks for time off.
• Coming up: what they've asked for and approved time off that isn't over, each marked asked or approved, with Cancel and Change dates. One still waiting has Send again.
• Before: their last few requests, marked approved, not approved, cancelled or changed.

After they tap Ask

The page says what it saved and the days they'd have left, for example "Saved: Vacation, Friday (1 day). You'd have 9 vacation days left." Under it is a Send to button for each approver. It opens their own WhatsApp, or Messages, with the request and that approver's link filled in. They press send.

If asking would take them past their balance, it says so: "That's 2 days more than you have left." They can still send it, and the approver sees it too.

If nobody can approve yet, it says "Nobody is set up to approve time off yet. Your boss will see it in the app."

Only their own

Their page shows only their own time off: not other people's requests, balances or notes.

If they approve too

Someone with Can approve on also sees Waiting for you at the top of their page: each request they can answer, with Approve or deny.

On two crews

Someone who works for two companies on Crew Off sees the other company's name at the top of their page. Tapping it switches.
