Put Crew Off on your home screen

Crew Off isn't in an app store. It runs in your phone's browser, and once it's on your home screen it opens like any other app: full screen, with its own icon, straight to your page.

On an iPhone

1. Open Crew Off in Safari and sign in.
2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

On an Android phone

1. Open Crew Off in Chrome and sign in.
2. Tap the menu (three dots) at the top right.
3. Tap Add to Home screen or Install app, then Add or Install.

What opens

The icon opens Crew Off where you start: your own time off page for the crew, Requests for the office. You stay signed in for about three months, so there's nothing to type.

For your crew

After someone joins, their page shows Put Crew Off on your home screen with the steps for their phone. Got it hides it on that phone.

The easiest time is right after they join: show them the steps once, on the truck or at the shop. Next time they need a day off, asking is one tap.

Approvers

Approvers don't need it. Each request arrives in their WhatsApp with its own link, and the link works without signing in. An approver who is also on the crew can add it to ask for their own time off and see what's waiting for them.
